Biltmore Waldorf Astoria
Blog 391: T-Day Get Away
From Picacho Peak State Park we drove the 123 miles down to Ajo Heights campground. We had visited here back in March and really enjoyed our stay, so we decided to spend the winter season here. Of course, one of the first things we did was put the hummer feeder up. Within minutes we had customers waiting in line.
After a couple days of settling in, we were back in the Jeep, heading north the 115 miles to Phoenix.

Because of COVID and logistical challenges we had not been able to see our grandkids and their parents for a long time. Hence, we decided to splurge a little and spend four days at the Biltmore Waldorf Astoria. Wow! What a place! Five pools, a crazy water slide, several good to great places to eat, all within this classy Frank Lloyd Wright resort.

Just a few minutes away was the impressive Botanical Garden.
See you soon.
