Travel Blog 360: A Joyful Journey
It’s not every day that one gets to see the sun rise over a labyrinth! But staying at Joyful Journey Hot Springs is not an everyday experience.
This is one interesting place! Its main attraction is its three hot springs pools to soak in. One warm, one warmer, and one hot. Great way to ease tension, relieve stress, and meet interesting people. Lodging is diverse—primitive campsites, RV sites, a lodge, yurts, and even teepees. Breakfast and dinner are included, and yoga classes and massages are also available. The location is the San Juan Valley, with the Sangre de Cristo Mountains to the east and the San Juan Mountains to the west.
Our daughter-in-law, Kelly, our grandson, Austin, and his friend, Ava, joined us for a couple of fun days. We took a day trip to the Great Sand Dunes National Park, an easy hour to the south.
See you next time.
