Travel Blog 377: Humming Along at Picacho Peak
Very impressive park. Great site with an armada to view critters. Here is a photo of a sunrise and one at early morning.
We put up our hummer feeder and had to wait about three minutes for our first customers. These hummers put on a show all day long.
The fun part was that a Gila woodpecker seemed to enjoy the hummer feeder as much as the hummers.
One day we drove close to Tucson and met good friends who were down visiting our other good friends.
Finally, here as some more shots from our campground: Ash-throated flycatcher, black-throated sparrow, cactus wren, Gambel’s quail, white-crowned sparrow, and two shots of a yellow-rumped warbler.
See you soon.
