Here are some last photos from our stay at Barr Lake State Park…
This young camper was trying out his binoculars.
Here are a couple of bumblebee shots and a Bullock’s oriole.
Also, here are a couple sunflower shots taken on my morning walks.
Good RV Buddies
We were quite pleased that our long-time RV buddies, Gary and Kathie stopped by for a nice visit on their way from a wedding. We have been many places together over the years and it was good to catch up.
Grandpup
Here is a shot of our grandpuppy, Frank, taking a siesta during a sleepover.
The Stanley Trip
We took our grandkids on a nice visit to the Stanley Hotel at Estes Park. On our way, we drove through the always-pretty Rocky Mountain National Park. Here we spotted a momma moose with her baby. Here is a pic of Momma.
As you may know, the Stanley was the setting for the classic movie, The Shining. The Stanley is also haunted, as can be verified by both Jan and our grandson who were "visited" by a ghost on an earlier trip a couple years back. This time we stayed at The Cowboy Attic Room where the Cowboy ghost, who loved women, lived and still resides.
Alas (or maybe hurrah), no interaction was detected.
Here is a shot of some art in an outside garden and our grandkids attending a Magic Show, also at the Stanley.
Great place to visit if you get a chance.
See you soon!
